Bangalore Baptist Hospital is a 450-bed tertiary care teaching hospital with state-of-the-art facilities that strives to serve with compassion. Started as an 80-bed general hospital in the year 1973, BBH completed 50 years of its existence preserving lives.
BBH is the first mission hospital in the country to have met the national quality standards (NABH and NABL) of excellence in healthcare.
BBH runs the Postgraduate training for doctors in 18 specialties under the Diplomate in National Board and also has a Nursing Institute (Diploma and BSc) and Allied Health Institute. The hospital has extensive community outreach in both rural and urban Bangalore. BBH is known for its Palliative care in and around Bangalore and has a 50-bed hospice facility at Devanahalli.

Subsidised treatment
BBH sets aside a significant portion of its income towards the care of poor-patient. The Community Health Department (CHD) serving as the outreach arm of BBH works to make a difference to the lives of the less privileged, living in the rural & urban areas of Bangalore.

BBH is registered Society and
a not for profit organisation under Section 12A of the Indian Income Tax Act and 80G of the Income Tax Act. We are also registered
under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act 1976 for all foreign contributions.
